Bahrain hosts first Paralympic Volleyball Championship – Bahrain 2022
The Bahrain Paralympic Committee, in collaboration with the Bahrain Badminton and Squash Federation, is preparing to host the first International Paralympic Volleyball Championship – Bahrain 2022, from May 16-21.
Bahrain Paralympic Committee chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Da’ij Al Khalifa said that the selection of Bahrain to host such an international event is a testament to the kingdom’s reputation for organising and hosting the world’s largest sporting events, particularly Paralympic sports.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Da’ij praised the continued and unlimited support of Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor, Secretary General of the Supreme Defense Council, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Foundation for Humanitarian Works, and H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Da’ij Al Khalifa noted the role of the Bahrain Volleyball and Squash Federation in organizing this tournament because it is of great importance to sports that belong to the determined and working to support the strategic plan of the Bahraini Paralympic Committee, as well as the efforts of Dr. Sussan Haji Taqwa, President of the Bahrain Volleyball and Squash Federation, and its management and success in the Federation.
In conclusion, the Chairman of the Bahrain Paralympic Committee explained that the first International Paralympic Volleyball Championship – Bahrain 2022 is an extension of the tireless efforts of the Bahrain Paralympic Committee in cooperation with various sports federations in hosting various tournaments and tournaments that contribute to Promotion of the sport of determination, most recently Bahrain 2021 Asian Paralympic Games and the 3rd West Asian Paralympic Games – Bahrain 2022, which achieved great organizational success and strong competition among participants To reflect the great capabilities of the Kingdom of Bahrain in hosting various sporting events.
