Al Khateri Achieves Second in Le Mans Showjumping Race, Mansour Fifth

Bahraini athlete Khalid Hilal Al Khateri achieved second on the opening day of  Le Mans Showjumping Championship, while compatriot Ahmed Mansour finished fifth, being held in France. The event also witnessed the participation of their country fellow Saber Faraj. Riding Siera, the Bahraini showjumper produced a stunning performance and deservedly occupied the runner up place in the event which featured 43 athletes from all over the world. On this occasion, Al Khateri expressed his utmost happiness at this accomplishment, stating that it came thanks to the direct support from HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa,

Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, President of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports and HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation and Vice President of the Supreme Council. He pointed out that the event was a great experience for him as he is gearing up for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
