Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Ayman bin Tawfiq Almoayyed hailed Bahrain’s success in hosting the International Trophy race.
He stressed the importance of the event which, he said, bolstered Bahrain’s sports standing and reflected its edge in hosting major international races.
In a statement today, he said the successful race would support efforts to turn the Kingdom of Bahrain into a capital of youth and sports.
Organised by the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, the event came in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to develop the standing of Bahrain as a favoured destination for global competitions.
He praised the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to promote Bahrain’s sports standing through hosting major international races.
He commended the outstanding performance of the Victorious Team, led by HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa..
