BRAVE Combat Federation’s current and only Bantamweight world champion, Stephen Loman has had his achievements recognized in his hometown back in the Philippines. After landing his fourth consecutive title defense over Louie Sanoudakis, last week at BRAVE CF 30, in India, “The Sniper” was commended by the Baguio City Council for his continued success inside the BRAVE CF Arena.
One of the Philippines’ biggest sporting heroes, Loman received a resolution of congratulations by Councilor Arthur Allad-iw, which was then adopted by the entire Council as he received yet another accolade for his sporting conquests.
“Loman is from the well-known team worldwide, Team Lakay, and is an inspiration to all athletes and brought prestige and honor to the City of Baguio, to the Cordillera Region, and the country as a whole”, said the resolution by Mr. Allad-iw.
The BRAVE CF Bantamweight king is rapidly rising as one of the superstars of the organization and is one of the most famous athletes in the Philippines right now. Before his successful title defense against Sanoudakis, Loman soaked in the support of his countrymen with a near-flawless performance in his homecoming, at BRAVE CF 22, when he defeated Elias Boudegzdame in Manilla.
He hopes to fight again in the Philippines in order to further extend his title defenses record in 2020. While Loman has been able to maintain his title in four defenses, no other BRAVE CF world champion has gone past the one defense mark, with Boudegzdame and Bubba Jenkins each defending the Featherweight belt one time.
