Medical Magazine, the Arabic monthly medical release continued its active presence and participation in numerous health events during this year both locally and regionally for the seventh consecutive year. The CEO of Daily Public Relations, Mahmood Al-Nasheet, the publisher of Medical Magazine, vowed to continue to support and be present within these events as they represent a higher message that spreads awareness surrounding medical topics.
Al-Nasheet stated: “Medical Magazine has been awarded the Gulf Excellency Award in the field of Medical Journalism, and through this, has gained the trust of many health institutions on the local, regional and international fronts, and thus has been chosen to sponsor events it organized from forums to conventions and exhibitions. Overall, the conventions and exhibitions field in the Middle East has gained a 2.39 Billion-Euro profit in the last year, according to UFI.
He further stated: “during this year, Medical has provided media coverage for almost 50 events, including community projects within Bahrain like blood donation and lectures to raise awareness”.
“We are also currently preparing to participate in three more events, two of which are in Bahrain and the third being in Jordan. Within Bahrain, we are partaking in the Gulf Forensic Evidence Convention, held under the patronage of the Minister of Interior, Sheikh Rashid Al Khalifa, and the BDFEX convention for Investment in the Health care sector, held under the patronage of the Chief of Supreme Council of Health in Bahrain, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. In Jordan we are participating in the International Health Care Travel Forum (IHTF2019), and it will be held under the patronage of King Abdullah Bin AlHussain, the king of Jordan. In this event we are expecting the participation of 700 individuals from 45 different nations, and hoping to expand more in the coming years.
Al-Nasheet further reiterated Medical’s efforts in participating in international events and introducing Bahrain to the world as a country adamant on sustaining health and expanding the reach as a tourist attraction as well. The presence of Medical in monthly conventions in Dubai for four consecutive years has further established its name in the industry and has aided in extending presence to Turkey and Tunisia.
According to Al-Nasheet, Medical Magazine was established to spread awareness and health education in the Arabic Language as there is a major gap in this sector and both the public and the medical industry itself have welcomed this introduction widely.
He further stated that organizers of health related events are continuously inviting Medical Magazine to participate in events, which is a testament to its success, and has considered it to be the only Arabic presence in the Medical Korea 2019 convention.
Medical Magazine has amassed a large presence in international health conventions in the past in countries like Bahrain, UAE, Turkey and Jordan, and this is all being done through a team of specialized Bahraini youth.
