KHK MMA ‘s sensation looks to make Bahrain proud at London

by PowerUp Sports

Bahraini flyweight contender Hussain Ayyad has been making waves in the mixed martial arts world as his performances for BRAVE Combat Federation have caught the eye of several big names in the sport. He will represent the Kingdom of Bahrain once again overseas, as he faces Mitchell Johnson at BRAVE 24: London, set to take place at the Copper Box Arena, on July 25th.
One of the country’s best fighters, Ayyad was recently the subject of a story on Bahrain News Center, where he discussed his preparation for the upcoming bout and the feeling of representing the Kingdom on the international stage.
“This is a very important fight for me, the most important of my career. A lot of famous people will be there and I want to represent Bahrain, my team, and His Highness Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa. I’m training very hard for that fight, more than any other fight I’ve had. I want to go harder so I can show that I deserve all the support that I get from everyone. I will make the country proud, and everyone who loves me as well”, said Ayyad.
The Bahraini fighter is coming off two straight victories and will look to become a title contender at Flyweight with yet another win, this time against Mitchell Johnson. His previous triumphs were against Mohammed Abo Ali, at BRAVE 18, and Jason Vergara, at BRAVE 22.

AYYAD PRAISED BY COACH ELDAROV
BRAVE Super Lightweight world champion and KHK MMA head coach Eldar Eldarov has nothing but good things to say to one of his best pupils in Ayyad. For Eldarov, the biggest weapon “Iron” has is his ability to listen to his coaches, as well as his well-rounded mixed martial arts techniques.
“Hussain is good everywhere. He can do everything, and the gameplan is designed according to the opponent. He can strike and he can do takedowns, his jiu-jitsu is good also. If I tell him to go for a takedown, he’ll do it. If I ask him to use boxing and kicks, he’ll do that as well, that’s why he’s one of the best in the team.
