HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Royal Endurance Team Captain, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today won the 160-km race of the Royal Windsor Horse Show 2022.
HH Shaikh Nasser led the Royal Endurance Team to distinguished positions during the 160-km race, which is held for the first time at Royal Windsor Horse Show.
The race featured fierce competition among riders from many countries, especially those from the UAE.
Royal Endurance Team rider, Mohammed Abdulhamid Al-Hashimi, clinched first place in the 120-km race, followed by riders Shahd Waleed Al-Ahmed and Nasser Al-Qahtani, who were second and third, respectively.
Young jockey, HH Shaikh Isa bin Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, also performed well and finished all the stages of the race successfully.
On the occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser asserted that the victory is the fruitful outcome of HM the King’s support for the equestrian sport in the kingdom, as well as the unwavering interest of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
