Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman, Head of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa praised Bahrain Club’s role and contributions to sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad made the statement as he visited Bahrain Club, where he met chairman Dr. Abdulrahman Rashid Al-Khashroom and other board members.
HH Shaikh Khalid also paid a similar visit to Al Shabab Club and met Chairman Mirza Ahmed Ali and other board members. He praised the club’s efforts and dedicated contributions over the past twenty years.
In attendance were GSA Deputy Chairman His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa and GSA Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad stressed the GSA’s keenness on implementing the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to develop sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain through strategies and projects.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad was briefed about plans and programmes set by Bahrain and Al Shabab Clubs for the coming period to support sports in the Kingdom and achieve further strides.
