Widely recognized as one of Women’s MMA’s biggest prospects, Luana Pinheiro will be one-half of the first-ever female MMA professional bout to take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Brazilian fighter will take on Helen Harper in the main card of BRAVE CF 29, scheduled to take place at the Khalifa Sports City Arena, in Isa Town, on November 15th.
Her background in judo, where she excelled as a Brazilian and South-American champion, has allowed Luana to make a smooth transition into mixed martial arts. She currently holds a record of six wins and one loss, with five of those victories coming via submission.
She has two bouts for BRAVE CF, both of which ended with her arm raised, as Luana submitted Elaine Leal and Yasmeli Araque, the last one in her international debut, in Colombia.
Now she will make the long journey from Brazil to Bahrain to take over the world of women’s MMA and she’s excited to put on a show for BRAVE Nation.
“I hear so many wonderful things about Bahrain, so I can’t wait to visit. I’m hoping to put on an amazing show for all the fans there and make my name in the Middle East. I know BRAVE CF has been doing amazing things for the sport around the world and I’m excited to represent the organization too”, said Pinheiro.
The Brazilian will hope that BRAVE CF 29 is the beginning of an amazing journey throughout the world with BRAVE Combat Federation.
