Twenty cyclists have registered to take part in the Down Hill mountain biking challenge which will be held on Friday.
The Bahrain Cycling Association is organizing the event which will be held in the region of Al-Raffa in Sakhir.
More than 120 citizens and residents have also registered to take part in the cross country race, which will be held on Friday morning.
The participants have been divided into three groups for their safety in compliance with the precautionary measures for combating the novel coronavirus.
The organizing committee which includes Amir Nasrallah, Ahmed Jafferi, Ghazi Al-Husseini, Soumaya Hussein and Dr. Jamal has undertaken all requirements regarding the itinerary of the race.
A team time trial (TTT) cycling race is also scheduled to be held on Saturday morning on Al-Durra Highway. proceeds of the event will go towards supporting charity works and cancer patients.
Forty teams representing the national cycling team, companies and other amateurs will take part.
