Nasser bin Hamad: We Pursue Promoting Bahrain and its Accomplishments in European Leagues
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, has praised the strong start of Paris FC in Ligue 2 after achieving a well-earned victory in its debut match representing Bahrain Victorious. His Highness pointed out that the team’s triumph in its first official game this season represents a source of optimism for the future of the team.
Furthermore, HH Shaikh Nasser described seeing a European team playing while showcasing Victorious Bahrain logo is a prominent sporting milestone for the Kingdom and it gives Bahrain an important role in European football. It’s worth noting that Bahrain has acquired 20 per cent shares of the French team, cementing its qualification chances for Ligue 1, while at the same time giving Bahraini talents a great platform to incubate them and hone their skills.
Moreover, HH Shaikh Nasser affirmed that the presence of the Victorious Bahrain logo on the jerseys of Paris FC is an enormous gain that serves the promotion of Bahrain and displaying its accomplishments and achievements in various areas, in an effort to achieve the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, which encourages taking advantage of all international events to promote Bahrain’s successes in the prosperous era of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
“The Club will be greatly supported by the management. Bahrain’s acquisition of Paris FC has played a key role in providing the ideal atmosphere to the team ahead of the start of the new season. Our main objective is to secure promotion to Ligue 1 in the coming years and to put together a great squad in order to reach the highest levels,” HH Shaikh Nasser said. “Many goals will be achieved from maintaining Bahrain’s leading position in sports, including to promote the Kingdom’s tourism sector,” His Highness added.
It’s worth noting that Paris FC had kicked off its Ligue 2 campaign in style, defeating Chambly 3-0 away thanks to a goal from Gaetan Laura and a brace from Florian Martin.
