Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) Secretary-General Mohammed Hassan Al-Nusuf received world bodybuilding champion Sami Al Haddad and hailed his impressive record of achievements.
He congratulated Al Haddad on his release and safe return, hailing his dedication to honour the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as his spirit of belonging and loyalty to the homeland.
He stressed the keenness of the committee, led by by Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman and BOC President, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, support to all champions for their honourable achievements.
Al Haddad praised the BOC-support during their detention, which had a good effect on himself, commending the efforts exerted by the Government’s bodies to secure his release.
