HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and the Bahrain Olympic Committee President has congratulated the top three winners of the Strongest Man at Home Championship which was broadcasted through a special programme aired on Bahrain Sports T.V channel. Moreover, HH Shaikh Khalid praised the exceptional performances featured during the competition. 

Cement Precautionary Measures

“We are happy with the results of the Strongest Man at Home Championship which we instructed for it to be organised. The aim of holding the event is to bolster our support for the Bahraini youth and sports in all circumstances, especially the current one with the application of the precautionary measures issued by the HRH-the-Crown-Prince-led National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19),” HH Shaikh Khalid said. 


Meanwhile, HH Shaikh Khalid praised the Ministry of Information’s initiative to broadcast the event via a special programme aired on Bahrain Sports T.V channel.  He also applauded the tireless efforts of the Organising Committee of the Championship, thanks to which the event was a huge success. “We will continue supporting the Bahraini youth at the sports level through the introduction of unique competitions and programmes which enable them to unleash their energies and showcase their talents,” HH Shaikh Khalid added.

t’s worth noting that Sayed Majeed Al Sharaf topped the podium after collecting 68 points, followed by Mohammed Salah Yusuf in second place (67p) and Tariq Abdulrahman in third place (62p).

The first place winner earned $10,000 while the runner-up bagged $5,000. The third-place winner claimed $3,000.
